Founded and led by Dr. Michael G Grimes, Healthy U Academy is an integrative medical hub. We help adults with chronic health concerns lead a peaceful and healthy life by providing them holistic consultations and personalized treatments.

The Mission

Our goal is to transform healthcare by educating communities. To do this, we launched a platform where our members interact with health retailers, naturopaths, and physicians. This platform allows individuals to share their experiences and get direct medical advice from experts in allopathic and therapeutic medicine.

What is Integrative Medicine?

Integrative medicine is a holistic medical discipline that focuses on the interaction between your mind, body, and spirit. This discipline embraces modern healthcare practices of diagnosis and treatment and also employs a systems-oriented approach to identity and eradicate the root cause of a disease.

The treatments may include therapeutic modalities such as yoga, massage, or acupuncture. It also incorporates:

Dr. Grimes’s Story

Born and raised in Alliance, Ohio; Dr. Grimes is the brains behind Healthy U Academy. He graduated from Alliance High School in 1985 (summa cum laude) and graduated from Findlay College in 1989 with a B.A. in Pre-Med. He went on to pursue his medical career at NEOMED, graduating in 1998.

He completed his residency training in Family Medicine at Summa Health Systems of Akron City in 2001. He enjoyed his solo practice on the Westside of Akron from 2001-2012.

Dr. Grimes is passionate about finding and addressing the underlying factors of your health problems in addition to symptoms. He prefers a series of sessions as it helps him focus on listening and treating you as an individual.

Dr, Grimes is one of the most recognized and respected physicians of Ohio. He has been honored with multiple awards including:
